Utah Anglers Coalition (UAC) participants have been effective in lobbying the
Utah Legislature and interacting with the Utah
Division of Wildlife Resources. Anyone can become involved by attending UAC meetings. A way anyone can get involved by joining one of
the participating organizations. Anyone can attend a UAC meeting and participate, but only representatives appointed by participating organizations have voting privileges
at UAC meetings. The strength of the UAC is that it unites Utah's angling interests
with one voice. Fly fishers, bass and walleye anglers, tournament anglers and shore anglers all come together at UAC.
Other ways to get involved in the management of fisheries and wildlife
in Utah are to attend Regional Advisory Council and Wildlife Board
meetings or to become a volunteer for the Division of Wildlife Resources.
