The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources receives most of its revenue from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses and from an excise tax on hunting- and fishing-related equipment. Very little of the DWR's budget comes from the state's general fund. The following chart shows the DWR's fishing-related revenue.
